Neterers.

at 5 p.m. They went to Warren Webber's wedding. Lovely day, in 70s.

to Jones. Took Daisy to hospital at Three Rivers. Otto better. Padres beat
Yanks & Downing 4-1. Two games straight.

cleared later. Went shopping. Left note at Wilson's. Helped Frank dig potatoes.

Alice's wedding at Warsaw. Drysdale & Dodgers beat Yanks 3rd
time 1-0. Mabel came with Dean's.

straight 2-1. First whitewash for Yanks. Bake & Nora dropped in coming from
Kalamazoo. Stayed for dinner. Record 93º in Chicago. Picked up Daisy.

broken up on lake.

15º. More snow. Took Lux's cards to Vandalia.

all a.m. shopping at Elkhart. Lake nearly froze over in night.

& calm, no wind. Hauled in wood on sled & carried some for Daisy.

up papers & put lights on deck.

Harbert's, had dinner at Wayne's & left at 3:15, arrived home about 5:45.

Wayne's came to see game. Brought chicken, etc. Bears won 14-10 vs. Giants.

to Cass to get Mom's watch, $7.75.
31 – Temp dropped last evening to 5
below. At 8 a.m. it was 12 below, coldest of winter here. High 18º. Clear &
fine day. Got 179 gallons oil.
